Moro is my primary music project. It began in 2011 in the town of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, when my former bandmate Daniel Lee Ruff Smith and I decided to make music together in our dorm rooms. It has since evolved into an improvised solo project in which I create melodic, hypnotic soundscapes using my synthesizer, a modified violin, and my microphone mask. The project is now based out of Portland, Oregon, where I currently reside.
